Our way of working
The process of creating a toy or model is carried out in three phases, it seems simple but it is not, many hours are invested until it is completely finished, the first phase consists of designing on computer what we want to make, in the second phase once the design is finished the necessary parts are ordered and finally in the third phase the assembly instructions are prepared to assemble it later.
1º The idea
Start by contacting us and sharing your idea, you need to provide us with information and images of what you want. If you are a company, we can advise you on any exhibition project or employee building event.
2º The budget
Our design team will work on your project and provide you with an approximate and detailed quote.
We will make sure you are happy with the proposed cost and send you a pro-forma before proceeding.
3º Order MOC
A first payment of 75% of the total amount of the quotation or pro-forma must be made when the order is placed.
4º Start of design
Once you have approved the quotation, we will start designing your customised model.
5º The pieces
If you are satisfied with the proposed design, we will order the necessary parts, original or compatible at the Customer's choice.
6º The instructions
Now that your design is a reality, we will create the detailed assembly instructions piece by piece or we will assemble the model if you prefer.
7º Final payment
When we have everything ready to be sent, you will have to make the last outstanding payment of the remaining 25% of the total amount indicated in the Pro-forma.
This will also include the cost of any modifications that were not agreed at the time of the order.
8º The shipment
Finally, we will send your personalised model to the address you have provided. We will make sure that everything is securely packaged so that it arrives in perfect condition.
The raw material
To physically build the models, you can use original LEGO® brand parts or compatible parts from GOBRICKS, which produces its parts for its toys and supplies them to other companies in the sector.
We have selected this manufacturer because of its excellent quality in the finish, completion of its parts and lower price; moreover, its parts are compatible with the main brands on the market and of course with LEGO®.
Differences between parts
We have taken as reference a 6 stud compatible piece and a 4 stud original piece, both in white colour, the tone may vary due to the image capture.
The 6 studs compatible piece has a very good glossy finish, the finishing of the piece has no ridges and it fits the same or better than the original ones, the only difference is that it does not have the logo of the original 4 studs piece.
With this small summary we want to clarify that DIMALE® models is not sponsored by any brand and that due to the lack of knowledge of many customers towards the compatible parts, we wanted to make this small analysis of some parts to try to solve all the doubts.
